My personal favourite, for so many reasons, is the cover of “Nowhere” by RIDE.

I think Titanic Rising is a masterpiece right down to the cover art.

I've been fascinated by water imagery since I was a child, but I've never been able to answer to myself why. When I saw the cover of Titanic Rising, I gasped! Thank you for including it. Some of my favorite album covers that feature bodies of water are Light Years by Kylie Minogue (the combination of the ocean, a pool, and her blue swimsuit is so aesthetically pleasing to me), Until the Quiet Comes by Flying Lotus (it looks like the figure is floating underwater, but the imagery is contrasting with the red, fiery sheets or clothes, like blazing light), and the cover for Peggy Gou's single, I Go, which features a stylized, vibrant body of water behind the figure of a girl.

(I really enjoy reading your blog!)

Great run through. I also thought of David Crosby’s classic: https://www.discogs.com/release/1061544-David-Crosby-If-I-Could-Only-Remember-My-Name
