Research? Don't you mean your time? I have no ears for Drake or Taylor Swift or Katy Perry and Turnstile - though he's a great singer - are bland with the odd good lick. I know this is a piece about clouds, etc. I just don't have much time for the artists I mentioned. Drake. I think he sold his soul
Robert, I just realized Dreams actually based their cover off of Magritteβs βGolcondaβ. Same thematic imagery of the man in a bowler hat as seen in βThe Son of Manβ!
I'm on the side that the Blind Faith cover is child pornography. She was *11* when that photo was taken. I know the photographer thought it was arty, but I'd like to never see that cover again.
(And weirdly enough, I don't feel that way about the Nirvana cover. I might be wrong on that.)
Amazing write up! Love the Selection of albums you chose.
My friend sent me this! Thanks for including my Lover coverπ₯°π so cool to be featured ππ¦
such a small world! so cool that it reached you π
Another banger! I love the mention of RenΓ© Magritte and nods to surrealism ππΌβ€οΈ

Where's the writing? You need some words on the page, no?
'The Son of Man' was used on the debut album of Dreams, a horn-rock group from the the seventies.

I definitely see the inspiration The Son of Man had on the cover! Thank you for pointing my way
The most obvious one that springs to mind for me was George Harrisons Cloud 9.
