Big Lush fan, although I guess I never put too much thought into their aesthetics -- the one department where they really *weren't* the equals of MBV/Slowdive/Ride imo. But "Lovelife" does have a pretty striking cover.

British bands in the ’90s had spectacular album artwork. Personally, the covers by Brian Cannon and Michael Spencer Jones are among my favorites from that era. Covers like A Storm in Heaven and Gravity Grave by The Verve completely blew my mind!

OMG, I loved Lush so much. Gala and Spooky are the best, but they settled into groove oriented jams with Split and Lovelife.
